First I would like to say thanks for visiting my page and checking out my fireworks tool. I hope you have as much fun making shows as I did programming it.
I am a Senior at Georgia Institute of Technology majoring in computer science. I really enjoy programming and designing games and wanted to make one as a side project. I have always enjoyed fireworks and wanted a program where I could not only make firework shows but also design the fireworks that went in the show. That's where I got the idea and started playing around to see if I could make a system that could display fireworks in real time, and thus Firework Showmaker was underway.
I started building Fireworks Showmaker in Fall of 2008 working on it between classes and projects. It was a slow process but it came together. There are lots of additions that I hope to develop for the game and website. You can find a list of some of the ideas on the home page. I will do as much work as time allows to make this a fun game for everyone. Hopefully my free time will increase once I graduate and will be able to work on this project and other ideas I have.
